In the Middle Ages, it was spun by hand in monasteries and became one of the most important yarns in Northern Europe, especially in Flanders and Italy.

Where our linen is born
The linen used by DianaStudio comes from selected crops in Western Europe, especially France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Here, thanks to the humid and temperate climate, the flax plant grows slowly, developing long, uniform and resistant fibres. Unlike other fibres, linen does not require artificial irrigation and has a minimal environmental impact.
It is a sustainable fiber by nature: grown without aggressive pesticides, 100% biodegradable, completely renewable.
